Lodge by the Lake
The Tranquil Otter is for families and friend who love the outdoors. The decks are large with unbroken views over the lake and a private hot-tub on each. Guests tell us, it’s our lakeside hot-tubs that make such a difference to their self-catering holidays.

We were a party of 10 staying at Lough House for 2 nights. It was the dream venue for our get-together. The spacious bedrooms had comfy beds, and felt like 5-star luxury! The fully-equipped and easy-cleaned kitchen made cooking a joy. The enormous open plan living area gave us all space to relax comfortably, and we made full use of the hot-tub! But the best bit about it was the setting and that view….. simply magical! We didn’t want to leave.
Spacious hot-tubs
The hot-tubs at the Tranquil Otter are spacious, something that the guests comment on when we show them how to make the best of the hot-tub.
One bedroom lodges are Chiffchaff, Fieldfare and Gadwall. Each of these lodges has a hot-tub that can be enjoyed by four, plenty of space for two to lounge and enjoy the tub.
Alder and Egret lodges each have tubs for larger groups.
Buzzard and Dunnock lodges both have a hot-tub with a waterfall feature.
Heron Lodge has an Arctic Spa tub in white with two pumps and can easily accommodate six adults.
